Thomas Turkin is a business professional, public servant, Navy veteran, and experienced operator focused on building stronger communities and more effective organizations. He currently serves as Vice Mayor of the City of Boynton Beach, Florida.

The son of immigrants, with a Jewish father from Ukraine and a Catholic mother from Lithuania, Thomas was raised in a household where opportunity was never assumed and hard work was always expected. That upbringing shaped his appreciation for resilience, service, accountability, and the importance of building something that lasts.

Over the past decade, Thomas has led teams, managed large scale operations, and worked across the public, private, and military sectors to drive growth, improve performance, and deliver meaningful results. His experience spans business management, economic development, organizational leadership, and public service. He is known for taking a practical, results focused approach to complex challenges and for leading from the front.

During his Navy career, Thomas earned multiple awards and distinctions for his leadership, performance, and commitment to service. He continues to carry those same values into his work as an elected official and business leader.

Thomas is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at Florida Atlantic University, with a focus on strategy, leadership, innovation, and the use of technology and data to modernize systems, improve efficiency, and deliver better outcomes.

Above all, Thomas is a husband and father whose work is driven by a commitment to his family, his community, and creating a lasting impact for future generations.
